Snapshot Sunday: A Boy and His Dino

A long, long time ago, before Boy #2 became a nine-year-old boy obsessed with video games and destruction, he was a boy who loved dinosaurs. In recognition of that love, one of his amazingly fabulous uncles (who also happens to be his godfather) gave Boy #2 a six-foot-inflatable dinosaur for his birthday. To date, he has yet to receive a present he’s loved as much as that dino.

  1. Having a boy myself who once loved dinosaurs, and still enjoys them, I can just imagine how he must he liked that dinosaur. What a great gift!

  2. Oh, my gosh! We had this exact same dino at our house! I think we finally had to secretly put him in the trash after one too many leaks developed. Both of my boys were major dino fans when they were younger. Thanks for bringing back great memories!

    We finally had to spirit the dino away too. Apparently, a plastic inflatable dino can only be patched so many time with duct tape. A sad day indeed. Like you said, though — wonderful memories! I have a feeling I’m going to be revisting this post over and over again.
