Thinking of homeschooling your boys? Or already homeschooling, but feeling a little frustrated?
I get it. I started homeschooling my oldest son in January of his first-grade year (yep, we pulled him out of school mid-year), and I was terrified. Excited, ambitious and almost 100% sure we were doing the right thing for our son and family, but also, you know, worried about screwing up his life. And mine.
I’m happy to tell you that didn’t happen. My son thrived and so did our family. My little first-grader developed a love of business and entrepreneurship while homeschooling; today, he is an independent 21-year-old who’s running two businesses (a lawn care service and Maui Wowi smoothie franchise) near Nashville, Tennessee. His brothers thrived as well. Homeschooling gave them time to discover their interests and develop at their own pace, and while my younger boys have since transitioned back to school, they remain curious, self-motivated learners (who rank near the top of the their classes).
In this hour-long seminar, I’ll share my top 5 tips for homeschooling boys. I’ll help you avoid some common homeschooling mistakes, and show you how to create a homeschooling environment that will meet your sons’ needs. New and veteran homeschoolers welcome!
